Burnham Copse come second in football rally

Categories: General News

The annual football and netball rally was a success again this year, with children from Bishopswood, Silchester, Tadley, Priory and Burnham Copse able to show their sporting qualities.

Although the weather could have been a little warmer, the children showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Numbers were down this year, however spirit and enthusiasm was at an all time high, and that's just the supporters!

The eventual winners of the netball were Bishopswood. They will now go forward and represent the Tadley cluster at Russell Howard school on Wedneaday 24th March. Good luck and we wish you well.

The football was won by Priory (A League) and Tadley (B league) All leagues were closely fought affairs. For Burnham Copse it was second place, an improvement on last year's performance.

Thank you to all who came and supported the event and to all who helped in some shape or form.

We now look forward to next year's event!
