TELFORD

16th - 20th November 2009

We have now arrived back in Hampshire having spent a week in the Black Country. The trip was an enjoyable experience for all involved and the children have gained a number of valuable skills from it.

The children were a credit to their parents during the trip. As you will all be aware, there were a few "technical difficulties" with the coach, which mean a slight delay to Monday's itinerary. Thank you to Tesco and the Ginsters lorry driver for your help. I'll let the children explain more if they haven't already!

There are a number of highlights from the trip; too many to write down. Feedback from the children suggests that the favourite trips were bowling and Blists Hill. Some of year 6 may be asking to work in the printers when thet are 12!

The children will have a number of memories that will stay with them from this trip. For example Mrs Andrews entering the lounge area!

November may seem like a long time away, but if January's 'disappearing act' is anything to go by, it will be here before you know it!

To enhance our topic on Inventors and Inventions, we would like to take the children for a week's long residential to Telford. As the trip gets nearer, more information about it will be sent home to parents via letters.
